I’ve never regretted a workout
I've come to learn that I've never regretted taking care of myself. I've never regretted choosing to prioritize my health and well-being over indulging in things that may feel good in the moment but ultimately leave me feeling not so great the next day.
I've never regretted a workout. The feeling of accomplishment and endorphins that come from pushing myself physically is unbeatable. It sets the tone for my day and leaves me feeling strong and energized!
I've never regretted choosing to stop drinking alcohol. I've realized that I feel so much better when I opt for other ways to unwind and relax. Plus, waking up without a hangover is always a plus!
On the flip side, I have regretted drinking a bottle and a half of wine. The headaches, the sluggishness, the regret of not being able to fully enjoy my day – it's just not worth it.
I have regretted chowing down on a bunch of late-night pizza. While it may taste good in the moment, the bloating and guilt that comes afterwards is never fun.
And I have regretted skipping my Sunday morning workout because of the wine and pizza Saturday night. It throws off my routine and leaves me feeling like I let myself down.
Ready to let go of regretful choices? Ask yourself when you are choosing something in the moment:
Does this choice support the person I’m trying to be?
How is this going to make me feel?
Am I going to regret this choice later?
Let the answers guide you. I promise you won't regret choosing to prioritize your health and well-being.
